Low-Key Pop-Up: The Stockist Tacoma

As the title suggests, this is a low-key pop-up hosted by Stockist Goods in Tacoma, WA. This will be my first time showing my art in Tacoma, so I’m looking forward to having fresh eyes on my art! I’ll be there with a few other makers, so it’s going to be a fun to-do!

Not only is the 19th the day before Father’s Day (good opportunity to get a last-minute gift, eh?), but it’s also Juneteenth. Because of this (and a multitude of other reasons) 10% of my sales will be donated to the Tacoma Urban League to support their ongoing initiatives - specifically the family programing.

2nd PhinneyWood Art Sale & Stroll

I’ve been looking forward to the summer months to finally get back out and do some tabling events! I enjoyed the first event a good deal, and I’ll be participating in the 2nd round as well (fingers crossed King County will allow it).

From the PNA website:

This neighborhood event is an opportunity for artists, crafters, and makers to display their wares for gazing and purchase, and a chance for appreciators to collect some new art, jewelry, or other handmade treasures.

Using a Google map as your guide, take a stroll or drive around PhinneyWood and visit yards on Saturday, June 12 from 12-4 (masks and 6-feet physical distancing required). Contactless payment is highly encouraged, so get your PayPal and Venmo accounts ready!

Copy and pasted: This neighborhood event is an opportunity for artists, crafters, and makers to display their wares for gazing and purchase, and a chance for appreciators to collect some new art, jewelry, or other handmade treasures. Couldn’t we all use something new to look at on our walls right about now? Or deserve to treat ourselves to a beautiful new handbag or some stunning pottery?

Using the Google map as your guide, take a stroll or drive around PhinneyWood and visit yards on Sunday, August 30 from 12-4 (masks and 6-feet physical distancing required). Map will be posted before the event.

The Artcade

STATIX and The DRAWNK present ARTCADE!

Over the past summer, local artist community, 'The Drawnk', and the Downtown Seattle Association collaborated to bring art games to Occidental Square every Tuesday. Over 50 artists worked together to build county fair inspired games with an artistic flair. This show is a celebration of that project, and an exhibition of the artwork that it was built from.

There will be art to look at, games to play, prizes to win, beer to drink (thanks to Pabst), music to hear (52KINGS!) and FUN TO HAVE!!!
